Unusual forms in a green setting
A fascinating exhibition, in one of the most charming locations in Florence. From the gravel and among the hedges of the Boboli Gardens there emerge bronze stalagmites and gigantic resin flowers, colossal pale stems, hilly eruptions and elliptical forms, huge interweavings of imaginary fossil forests, castings of metal that twist and bend and geysers of bright steel. Scattered around the most evocative places in the park are sixteen monumental works by the great British sculptor Tony Cragg that tell the story of the last twenty years of the artist’s career.
