Wall literature
Have you ever thought of hanging your favourite book in your living room or displaying your degree dissertation on the wall of your office? This is now possible with ‘Pagina’ by ST Origami, a company founded in Brescia that aims to promote a new form of decorative communication. ‘Pagina’ can be used as a design object in homes, hotels or showrooms, or as décor for events and exhibitions. Available in 70X230H cm strips, ‘Pagina’ proposes masterpieces of world literature in the original language, printed on a single “page” of craft paper. This is a real graphic and decorative work of art featuring an unusual scenic effect. ‘Pagina’ is created using a special type of biodegradable, environmentally friendly craft paper with a fabric-like texture. It comes with a dual installation system: with small, sturdy supports that allow it to be hung like a painting, securing the edges but leaving the bottom part of the work free, or with an adhesive film.
In addition to a choice of 11 different novels including Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince, Collodi’s Pinocchio, Homer’s Odyssey (in ancient Greek), Herman Hesse’s Siddharta, and the Taketori Monogatari (antique fictional Japanese prose narrative), ST Origami also offers customers the option of personalizing their ‘Pagina’, with words of their favourite book, or degree dissertation, available in different colours and fonts. At present, ‘Pagina’ is distributed within three stores, in Mantova and in Brescia. ‘Pagina’ can also be ordered by contacting ST Origami via email or telephone.
